Jeffries

Brian Jeffries is a Navy veteran turned award-winning photojournalist and visual storyteller. He joined the U.S. Navy in 2009, deploying to Guantanamo Bay where he first found his voice as a writer and photographer — documenting military life from the inside.

After graduating magna cum laude from Morgan State University with a degree in Multimedia Journalism, Brian went on to cover stories for the Washington Post, Baltimore Sun, Stars and Stripes, Capital Gazette, and more. His lens spans naval aviation, high school sports and performing arts, editorial documentary work, and the everyday beauty of Baltimore's streets.
